Toujours Pret John,
Welcome to the DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of updated features, lots of sub-groups,(ie, Officers Club, F-Trp., Amberg, Medics, etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history, and you can even win a kool prize.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or any of the 5 admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures (pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).

i was sgt bradens driver and gunner on delta 14

sp5 driver and gunner on plt sgts tank. d 14.

Tell us a little about your cav days.

had fun. went to the rock after big red one in vietnam. looking for sgt wood who was on b/1/2 1id, i was in c/1/2 there. looking for sgt braden, johnny more, meesick, kassell, powers, hengst, tyson, lingle, morgan, simpson, lt col dye, carmody, two brothers from wyoming or colorado, one a sp5 the other buck sgt, lt skagg, miller, nash, carrol, sack, the list goes on n on.

Tell us a little about you now.

i went to c/1/2 1st id from apr66 to apr 67 then went to d/1/2 ac rgt. i was on d14 there with sgt braden, sgt nash, and simpson. simpson was from memphis and sent all his money home to support his family. i got on little rock fire dept in mar 69 and worked there for 30 years. retired now in little rock, arkansas. lived around here all but my army life. i never thought id cherish my days on the rock, but i do. i liked that juke box in the mess hall.

Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.

meesick, sack, carroll, nash, miller, tyson, lt skagg, 2 brothers from colorado or wyoming, they joined on buddy system, carmody, lt col dye, simpson morgan, lingle, hengst, powers, kassell, johnny moore, sgt braden, sgt wood from b/1/2 ac rgt, he was in b/1/2 1id in vietnam with me too. the list goes on n on.
