  • Mike - that is very cool keep me informed I would love to come down. I’m looking for some guys in Texas that can go to the Resa De la Palma battlefield in Brownsville, TX to webcast.
  • I failed to mention Loxahatchee Battlefield Preserve is on the federal status of Battlefield and a recent award of $7 million clams. I questioned the Park Coordinator about a 2nd Dragoon Marker which the Battlefield lacks. He said it is in that $7 million budget. So prepare for a possible date to be present on it's ceremony. Yesterday's stop by the Battlefield office gave me a push to be involved in this new Battlefield marker with our DUI and QR code. All other units are present on that Battlefield Alabama, Tennessee Volunteers Jessup's short lived river crossing and the start of the "Trail of Tears". This is a small Battlefield but a very beautiful setting. Million dollars homes over the years consumed some of the Battlefield.
  • I presently am coordinating with the Loxahatchee Battlefield Preserve in Jupiter Fla. to post a contingency of 2nd Dragoons and possible reenactors of the Battle of Loxahatchee which Ltc Harney and 600 2nd Dragoons on January 25th, 1838. Updates to follow
