  He's good people. Tell him me and Dyer said hello and neither one of us is coming to Germany. We got our orders today and I'm headed to Fort Irwin with the 11th ACR. We were all stationed in Hohenfels together on the TImberwolves team...ask him about eating bloody chicken wings in the box!!!

  Yeah I hear ya about Pond Barracks. I dropped by when they were tearing up the parade field and CAV symbol in the middle. It kinda tore at ya and I couldn't stay long. I went back a few more times and when they finished. I went to the pizza place in the old chow hall...obviously not the same. My boys are 17 this year and keep me updated with Amberg and Graph. The Cav is no longer the CAV...I have a fellow student in class with me now who worked at USAEUR and said the 2SCR was on a curfew for a while because they were tearing up the surrounding towns. I can only imagine... I keep reminding the airborne Infantry guys in class they get to Iraq and Afghanistan just like I did-On some type of wheeled vehicle!!! They don't appreciate that much:-)
  It was pretty sad to see it turned into what it did. Hopefully soon I will have orders to Germany, but I'm not counting on it. I let ya know if I head that way. Good to hear from ya. Dave

  Hey man! Hows it going these days? I left hohenfels in 2003. I was with the Timberwolves. Currently I'm trying to get back to Germany..anywhere will do, but its not looking good. We should have our assignments w/n a week or so so we'll see. SO how has JRMC grown with the drawn down? Is Graph growing as well..I hear its huge these days. Drop me a line when you get the time.   Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
  Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
  If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or myself, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
  And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
  And that you please tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.
