Sgt. Kelly. Have you talked to Lt. Kulp in past couple of decades? He retired as a full bird a couple of years ago, and Chewning retired as a 1st Sergeant and lives somewhere here in Florida.

Hay brother been over 25 years since I heard from ya, hope all is well. I got off active duty back in 1997 and went in the Guard 252 armor Ft Bragg as a Scout platoon Sgt. stayed with that unit for 10 yrs. Went to Iraq again in 2003 to 2005. Then went into the reserves as a senior drill sergeant for seven years. All this while being a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officer.

Got the opportunity to go back home to WV and be a State Trooper been doing that for the past 7 ½ years and being a Carrier counselor for the reserves with 3 ARCD out of Ft Story Va. In short just cant let it go, and before I knew it I have been in over 30yrs in the Military.

I can still remember all the good times we had in Amburg brother, were the Hell you at and what are you into.

Hey Dave.  I do remember that buddy. I'm still amazed at how quickly time flies.   If you ever get out to the wild west of New Mexico let's get together. I have a pics of our exploits together in Mike Company.     Pete

      Hello again old friend,

I am thrilled that you and your family are doing great.  I hope the years have faded your memory to the point where your stories of our military adventures together are kind.  I vividly recall that we were a real good tank outfit, no, actually a damned great tank outfit, and it was directly because of the tremendous warrior spirit of troopers like you.

I was honored and thrilled to lead great troopers like you, and am blessed to hear from you again.

Well DeKalb County is lucky to have a great cop watching over them....Until we meet again at Fiddlers Green David.....Farewell and Toujours Pret brother.

      Pete
