      Oops, meant 3d Battalion

I think I may have prededed you in Amberg by about 10 years.  I was with the 2d Battalion (that,s what we called them the plus Companies instead of Troops).  from 1952 to 1955 and later in Fort Meade - 5 1/2 years total - I was in G,H,,Hq and Howitzer Companies.  I really enjoyed my days in Amberg  and many times wish I could relive them - or maybe just wish I was young again.  Thank for the note

I´ve been working at Siemens for almost 24 years. No I´m not a German citizen, I´ve kept my American citizenship. Our weather has been in the mid 30´s this past week.

It was a great growing up experience, for me and more than that I enjoyed that time. Yes I have been back many many times.  I married my wife there over 46 yrs ago.  I did not stay in the Army but skills I picked up while in the Army  stayed with me my entire life.

Yes I still live in Michigan..
