Bamberg w/ 2d Sqdn - 80% of time away from home station;
Tell us a little about you now.
Entered Duke Medical School in 1971 through AR 601-112 program (Army Scholarship program) Transferred to Medical Corps after graduating from Medical School in 1974, completed 23 years total service, retired as XVIIIth Airborne Corps Surgeon. While at Ft. Bragg, deployed to Panama with 82nd Airborne in December 1989, then to Saudi Arabia with 82d in Aug 1990. Transferred to 44th Med Brigade in theater, commanded 28th Combat Support Hospital in Saudi Arabia and Iraq in first Gulf War. Re-established light, highly mobile hospital configuration to support mobile armored and combined arms forces. Retired in 1992.

It's an honor and pleasure to welcome you to the Dragoons. If you take a tour of the groups here, I'm sure you'll find some to fit your background. If I may, let me try to persuade you to join the Oldtimer's group. We have many who have given much to be here. Many career vets, disabled vets with interesting military experiences. And then there are those of us who figured we didn't know what a good thing we had. We are for the most part, on first name basis here, but you can let us know how you wish to be addressed, be it Dr. or whatever.
