Tell us a little about your cav days.
The reason I stayed in the Army for 22 years. My first and in a lot of ways my best duty assignment. Never stopped with the field, gunnery, working all night in the motor pool. My oldest daughter was born in Nuremberg in 1985. Extra Duty for LTC Bird, walking around in a body cast for 90 days. I am surprised I survived!

I work as a Program Manager and Maintenance Director for a Government contractor in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hey SGT Weber, I recognize you now. You guys were a little wild back then, but you had a good excuse you were young and just having fun. But you know what, that was my last assignment and you guys were simply the best mechanics I ever worked with and supervised. I was looking at one of my old evaluations the other day and one of the comments said we had maintained over 95% readiness rate for 12 straight months and I immediately thought, it wasn't me it was all the good young mechanics and NCO's that worked for me.
