My first tour was right out of flight school and my first time overseas, so the entire time there was an adventure and a bit of a culture shock. The second tour was like coming home, with a few familiar faces still there. Participated in the whirlwind Desert Storm deployment.
Tell us a little about you now.

Hey Ken,
Glad to hear from you again. Hope that you are doing well and in good health. Currently living in Orlando. Married to my beautiful wife Paula for 19 1/2 years and blessed with three daughters! Have been with the Orange County Sheriff's Office for almost 11 years and in the aviation unit full time for just over 5 years as a Tactical flight Observer.
So how are you? What have you been up to all these years?

Welcome Ken Weaver,
I knew only one Aviator in the CAV, then Captain Kipp O Miller, who is a member herein. I served before your time, But Welcome Home, Trooper. I hope your retirement years are as good as you imagined, and I only slightly envy your geographical location.
Funny when I went in the Army, Hawaii was my "wish list" assignment; but the Army, in all of its wisdom sent me to the 3/2 ACR in Amberg, Germany.
I had various assignments, and, when I wasn't bitchin' I enjoyed it all. And now in hindsight, for the quality of life, quality of associates, and overall, it was most probably the best time of my life.
I have relived some hilarious times in here wi th some of my Cav Brethren, with whom I am honored to associate. I hope you are able to "connect" with some past friends in here.
Welcome Home, Brother
