    Tell us a little about your cav days.

    Awesome; I was the RFSO and the Regimental IG. Stationed in Nuremberg, but visited all Regimental sites and the border. Doug Lute and Scott Miller were RS3's when I was there. Moved from 2ACR to 210th FA Bde in Herzogenaurach and still supporting 2ACR with fires support. Deployed to Saudi Arabia with 2ACR for Desert Storm. Flew down with advance party prior to 2ACR and 210th Bde deploying for a planning session.


    Tell us a little about you now.

    1974 Texas Aggie; Artillery. Started with 82d Airborne, went to Europe with 512th USAAG in Grossengstingen, FRG, and VII Corps Artillery in Augsburg, FRG; there to US Army Infantry Advanced Course and then to Fort Sill as instructor for Artillery tactics. Off to FORSCOM IG team afterwards (nuclear artillery inspector), followed by assignment with 2ACR in Nuremberg. After 210th Bde (Desert Storm; Bde S3) to an assignment on ARSTAF in Pentagon with DCSOPS G3 Nuclear Division. Last Chief, Army Nuclear Division. There to MilDep for DUSA-IA/War College. Then, to OSD staff on Former Soviet Union Nuclear Affairs and Strategic Arms Control staffs. Delegate to START III negotiations. Retired; now with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) in Rossly/Reston, VA supporting ODASD SSIPM and the Defense Science Board. Formery supporting the ODASD Nuclear Matters and ASD International Security Policy.
