Roger, would you by any chance be related to the Brashear family? When I was a member of the 2/AC Bindlach there was a young man from California whose last name was Combs and he said he was related to the Brashear family in Stilwell, Oklahoma. I know that that the Brashear community is located to your northeast. We attended the same church as the afore mention family in Stilwell. Small world.
Roger, I reside in the Oklahoma hills about 40 miles to the north of you. Grandson, wife and I road the train from your area to Windslow and back to Van Buren. Every time I go to V.A. Little Rock, I stop at the McDonald's on the north side of Van Buren to refresh my coffee. Train ride was nice.
