Hey Roger. Last time we met you were working for Southwest Times Record. You did a report on Leding Lubricants where I worked. I live in Charleston AR now and retired after 23yrs teaching. It would be nice to hear from you again.
Roger, would you by any chance be related to the Brashear family? When I was a member of the 2/AC Bindlach there was a young man from California whose last name was Combs and he said he was related to the Brashear family in Stilwell, Oklahoma. I know that that the Brashear community is located to your northeast. We attended the same church as the afore mention family in Stilwell. Small world.
Roger, I reside in the Oklahoma hills about 40 miles to the north of you. Grandson, wife and I road the train from your area to Windslow and back to Van Buren. Every time I go to V.A. Little Rock, I stop at the McDonald's on the north side of Van Buren to refresh my coffee. Train ride was nice.
