Hi Ronny small World, I was there a few years after you were there. Got there via Ft. Benning and NCO ( shake and bake academy ) same MOS 11C primary and 11B secondary, that did not last long as day one I was told that the infantry section was already full and to get ready to be a scout, but in essence I was for a while in the infantry track for the platoon, same with mortar track, M 114 scout track section, even later as gunner then TC on an M551 Sheridan. They also had me attend the explosives demolitions and landmine warfare school at Graffenwohr. Any way, nice to hear from another trooper, one who actually did and lived pretty much the exact life at "The Rock"
Where did you do boot camp and infantry AIT? I did mine at Ft Ord California ( now closed )
