      Hey Cub,

How the heck are you man. I heard you ended up staying in and are working at Knox now. That's great, sounds like you've done well with your life. Are you married? Kids? Looking forward to getting together next month and reminiscing over the old days.

      Duane

These days retiring in one piece seems to be a rare thing. Glad you made it. I would have to say our platoon was the most fun I ever had in the Army.(lots of memories of crazy crap and drunken fun)

    • Morris D Lay January 14, 2009 17:38
LEMASTERS (CUBBY), IT IS GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU & I THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE IN BINDLACH, IRAQ, & THE ARMY. I AM EXTREMELY PROUD OF YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENT'S. I THINK WE ALL HAD A SPECIAL PLATOON IN BINDLACH, AND YOU WERE AN ESSENTIAL PART. IT IS THE PVT'S, SGT'S, & SQD LEADERS WHO FORM THE MOST INTEGRAL PIECE OF THE SCOUT/TANK PLT, ETC. I SEE YOU ARE IN ETOWN. I/WE LIVE IN BETWEEN RADCLIFF & ETOWN. DO YOU HAVE A FAMILY? I HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE REUNION. I WON'T KNOW IF I CAN MAKE IT UNTIL THE DAY ARRIVES. I WILL ALWAYS BE WITH THE 1ST PLT OF B TRP IN SPIRIT. "OLD SOLDIER'S NEVER DIE, THEY JUST FADE AWAY."

I wouldn't miss the reunion for anything. I was also at OIF II, six months up at Taji as a PSG and six months down in Baghdad. I am really, really glad to hear that you're OK. And I meant it, all I've heard about you, I am really proud of you. I just retired as an AGR out of the Oregon NG about a year and a half ago, so we're in the same boat. Didn't seem like much of a plan when I was twenty, but it's looking pretty fucking good right now! Cheers, Pete

Cubby, you dog. I figured you were dead or in the joint. I am very, very proud of you. Pete

      Toujours Pret Ronald,
Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the site has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site(ie,photos, ect) in the Forum.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or myself, or just yell out another member may be able to help.
And his only wish that ‘We keep it clean’, use our real names/with pictures, and you tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.

      Thanks Again for joining,
      Jesse Kelley
