Its great to be back in contact with you! Its been too long. I hope you will attend the Reunion.
Did you get the letter I sent you? I think it went out on Thursday. (I mostly want to know if I have a good mailing address for you.)
Shoot me an email at eleafblad@comcast.net and I will get you on the email chain. Slim also created a web site for us. www.alwasyreadyalwaysfirst.org We have a present and accounted for section with photos. Send me a photo of you from the Army and a modern one and we will get you up on the site.
After they split the Scouts and Tankers we really didn't have as much contact with each as before. Thus, its hard for us to remember the Tankers. (You were the only Tanker I could remember.) So any help you can give with the Tanker's names would be great. At minimum I need first and last name. Home states are important for Troopers with common first names.
Always Ready, Always First,
Eric
Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the site has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site(ie,photos, ect) in the Forum.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or myself, or just yell out another member may be able to help.
And his only wish that ‘We keep it clean’, use our real names/with pictures, and you tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.
Thanks Again for joining,
Jesse Kelley
Good to hear from you...what are you doing these days? You know, I vaguely remember that pic you posted. Looks like Darren Grubbs, Mike Strickley, Scott Schaab, and maybe Bruce, Buchanan and Hoffman in the background.
How's life treatin' you? Are you still in boots? I see you got your stripes while at the Rock...I got mine a few years later after I went back on active duty at Hood. I screwed around and finally got out for good when I busted up my knee pretty bad. But life's been good since then. I'm out in Idaho now and loving it.
Are you still in Michigan? Lemme know how things are going for you...talk with you later, Jay
