Happy Birthday Bruce, have a fine day,is the reunion on the menu.????
Greetings, Captain Lantz! Any chance that you will be attending the reunion in Gettysburg? I would love to entice Dad to attend one of these events, some day. I hope all is well. Take care. Greg Miller
Captain Lantz, I was stationed on the "rock" in Bravo troop from 04-68 to 11-69. 1Lt Charles Stacey was my CO. Did you know of him or anyone else during that time frame? I was the commo chief in Headquarters platoon during my last 10 months or so there. Were you from Lincoln Ne originally by any chance? Steve Linn
Greetings, Captain Lantz! I recently sent two messages to you; however, I think I did not use the proper link because those messages appear neither on your page nor mine. So, I thought I'd give it another shot, here. I'm wondering if you know whether or not Colonel Dye is still living. He was kind of a larger than life figure for me at the time that he commanded Christensen Barracks.
My mother noticed my page, lastnight, on this website, and she noticed your name, as well. She says she remembers you, Mrs. Lantz, and your two daughters. In fact, I believe that she may have a photo or two of your daughters at my sister's 4th birthday party, back in January, 1968. I vaguely recall that you might have lived in the same building as my family. We lived in the quarters furthest from the school, down at the end of the cul-de-sac. I remember we could see the Colonel's and Major's house from our dining room window, just across the grass. It's funny the trivial things a boy inks into his memory. Czech Crisis of '68 and all I remember is the playground outside our quarters. Oh, well! Take care, Captain! Greg
BTW: I'll let you know if I hear from Captain Falk.
Toujours Pret, Captain Lantz! I'm wondering if you knew my father, 1st Lt. Perry Miller at HQ Troop, '67-68. I noticed that you know Dutch Falk. He and my dad were pretty good friends, both at Bindlach and at Ft. Knox, later on. Do you know of anyone that can put me in touch with Captain Falk? He doesn't seem to be logging onto Dragoon Base, lately. Thanks for your time, sir. Take care. Greg Miller
Happy Birthday Bruce, maybe you will make it to the reunion next October ??
Hey Bruce,
You're as old as the women you feel.
You haven't missed anything up here, but like Dorothy said, "there's no place like home".
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRUCE
Wishing you many more, from all of us at DragoonBase!!!
