Do you remember D. Jack? And Takahashi, Jack lived 20 mi. from me in Cinci. and I never knew. Believe in or not he has been working for the Navy for 20 yrs.

Forgot to include, I for the most part, grow up in Spring Valley Ca, went to El Cajon High one summer, and to Santana High Jr year (half time).

Hi all,

I was with HHT from '72 thru '75 and spent a few days ( when I first arrived) on the 2nd floor of hq bldg waiting for my new unit to come back from Graf (I think). I was an E11R6 (redeye gunner, became section, platoon Sgt or whatever by the time I left) loved ALMOST all of it, ALWAYS REDEYE!!

Charles,I think i have what you are looking for.The letter about a GI coming home from Germany.I just don't know how to mail you a copy of it.I was at Pond Barrack from 69-71 a SGT. with Redeye.Any ideas of how to mail it to you ?

I don't remember it, but he was probably shitfaced drunk when he gave that speech. I do remember that we set the range records for speed and accuracy! I remember Landry chasing us down to congratulate us.

Toujours Pret Charles,
Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or myself, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
And that you please tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.
