Tell us a little about your cav days.
I was originally assigned to 2/2 ACR, HHT as part of the medic platoon. During my time in the Cav, the medic platoon was broken up and medics were assigned directly to each unit. I was then assigned as the H Company medic. Near the end of my time in the Cav I was assigned as the permanent medic at Camp Hof and remained there as each Troop rotated through on a monthly basis.
Tell us a little about you now.
I was discharged from Army service in 1982 and immediately entered the New Jersey State Police. I retired from the NJSP as a Lt. Colonel (Deputy Superintendent) after 27 years of service and now work in the security department for a large pharmaceutical company.

HEY CHRIS! THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE. YOU PROB DON'T REMEMBER ME (then SSG Meyer, Cav CIF then S-4) 78-80. Your name is familiar to me. Have you ever had any contact with Mr. Goggins,Gene Luce, or sp/4 Moore or Mohr?(not sure of the spelling) There was another medic with first name Mike, but can't remember his last name. He and I shared a room when my family returned to the states in may 80. Anyway, just wanted to say Hi with a short trip down memory lane. Take care, Tom
