Damn Doug, starting to pile on the birthdays, aren't we? Mine is Friday.
Try not to over do it....there is always next year.
Toujours Pret!
Lost track of Fatty about 2 years after I got out, around 1977, we went to a wedding for one of the crew and that was the last I saw of him.
Regarding the ride in Graf, we are all lucky to be alive, should not have been driving that night.
Good to hear hope all is well and any pictures are always welcome, Dave Gettman has sent a few which really bring back some memories.
I still see Scott Hippe once a year or so, he still lives in Germany.
Take care
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOUGLAS

Saw your list of names you'd like to hear from. I was a PL in Charlie 72-73. The name Sarro rings a bell. If it's the same guy (short, red haired as I recall), he was my driver or loader on my Sheridan. did you ever hear from him? Pretty sure I remember Sgt Rex as well. Time plays tricks on the memory. :)
Thanks,
Gerald David
Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos, links, ect) in the Forum.
Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history and you can even win a kool prize.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or any of the 5 admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
And that you please tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.
Thanks again for joining Dragoon Base, and for your service to our great country,
Jesse Kelley
