    cpl locascio, peter 1979-83. squadren opns- s-2. you suggested to me joining the peace corps- i still think about that path. ended up retiring from bmw corporate 2016. live near allentown, pa. wife since 84- no children. i just started looking into this site. i am not savy with this type of site so i am learning to navigate slowly. i saw the photos and recognized tabor right away then roach- he allways wore his cap distinctly from others. i have many photos which i will attempt to post. how nice it is to communicate after all these years. i have great memories and think of them often. i just got the dinner bell. i will type soon. i am verry happy right now, having wondered how to contact pals from so long ago. i read about the trip to germany to late. i think i might have attended. peter.

    Snake Martin here.  I just joined the Dragoon Base and starting to look folks up.  I know when you left the Squadron it was rather quick Emergency Leave with the passing of your mother as I remember.  I never got a chance to say goodbye to you.  You were a good friend when I first arrived at the Squadron alone right before Christmas and you treated Christie and me very well.  I hope this finds you well - If you want you can email me direct at rca0659@gmail.com - it would be great to hear from you

    Hi "D" and thank you for responding. Did you receive the e-mail that I send to you, Peter Janker & Mark about getting together to travel to Ft. Knox last Armor Conference and 2nd ACR Reunion in May 2010? Any way we should all get together for breakfast, lunch or dinner and the sooner the better..

    Thanks DuBois. I'm trying to post as many of those troop photos on the History Center as I can find, so troopers can look back at their old buddies.

    The last e-mail I got from Stone 6 was December 2006. It was pretty hard to read, so he wasn't doing very well then. I have his obituary somewhere. It says he was awarded the Silver Star in VN.

    I got rather PO'd at some of the old Dragoon Base members for giving Tony crap about his typing toward the end. They accused him of being a drunk or a crazy old man, so he quit leaving messages.

    Sir,
    I noticed that you mention Brick Miller in your "buddies" area. Are you aware that he too is in the Alexandria area, working for the Family & MWR Command on King St? He is the current Commander there (Colonel).

    I see you served under LTC 'Tony' Brinkley. He was a member of the old Dragoon Base website for a few years, but passed away a couple years ago.

    Would you mind if I copied your unit photos for the 2nd Cavalry Association History Center's Troop photo section?
