      Hi Mike, i was at Camp Gates from 1984 to 1986 as i look at these pictures i have so many mixed emotions.i remember all of it and how this place made me feel the first time i got there.I thought we were in some kind of prison camp.

      Mike,  Thanks for posting the videos of Camp Gates, you are right it is ashamed to see the place in such disrepair. It is like the place is being disrespected. But it does bring back some memories.

      Hey Mike, thanks for the comment. I was also a bit discouraged. Did you ever see the movie "12 O'Clock High"? In the opning scene an airman from WW II shows up at his former airfield in the UK some years later, in serious disrepair. It was a Cavalry version of the same flick!
