hey Robert, thats pretty funny. good to hear from ya .that was hard work and good times
Robert, I remember you well! I remember just about everybody that was on the Boeselager team. Without a doubt, the Boeselager team has been one of my life highlights that I will never forget. As a matter of fact, I'm wearing a shirt today that has the "Toujours Pret" patch on the front because the old 2nd ACR was without a doubt my most memorable unit and I constantly think back to those days in relation to where I've been and what I do today. I really liked Boeselager because it allowed us to focus our training on some very specific stuff and the team got really good at it. If only the rest of life could be that focused. One of these days I will return to Amberg because our youngest son was born in Nuremburg and I promised to take him back there to see it all (along with his son and wife). As a matter of fact, his wife was born in Germany too so we will just kill two birds with the same stone! I'm glad to hear life is good for you because it certainly is for me. Ron
Ha Ha. It's funny the things you remember and that stick with you in life. What you didn't realize was that I was tore up from the floor up. I'd been upstairs with SSG Elliot and SSG Rodemaker drinking whiskey. When I stepped out the door my foot hit those cobbles and it was all over. When you guys walked out I had to adapt and overcome. My solution was to caution you about the perils of ice and snow. Glad to hear life is good for you and hope it continues as you go one with life. Jeeze 51 years old.... man your getting to be ederly. You take care and God Bless.
Hey young man. Wanted to touch base and say hi. Yes I'm still alive. I do remember you, SGT Stuckey, PFC Gukerey, Hudson, Seader and all the rest of the platoon. We had a good outfit and I enjoyed my service with the 3/2 ACR. You take care and stay in touch. Toujours Pret Brother.
