I tried to extend but was DEROS'd (under duress) on New Year's Eve 1984. I was assigned to Company B, 3-77 Armor from early January to late December 1984, when I ETS'd. Our commander at the time was CAP Boyce Glason, my Platoon Leader was 2LT Michael Player, and my Platoon Sergeant was SFC Johnny Johnson.
Did you know SGT Rufus Glosson on the Rock? Our time in Bindlach overlapped by about six months, and in coincidence I took his room upon arrival in Fort Polk. Small world!
How about yourself? When were you in Skeeter Country?
