  Pat, yes I went the distance and I am glad that I did. I am enjoying life and making real money along with a nice little retirement check. What are you up to now days? I retired back home and in Sunny So California.

  I'm sorry to say, that I do not remember Shannon's wife's name. Sonja does not ring a bell, though. We're going in July until mid Aug.
  We'll be celebrating our 25th anniversary with the 'old' housing gang and all our friends who were there at the wedding. We also want to go on a Rhine River cruise and to Berlin. I hope that we can manage all that in 3 weeks. When you go on these trips - do you use a special car rental place? It's awfully expensive to rent a car from Avis for example. We're still looking. You got any hints?

  Hi Biddy, I can't believe it - you actually have a picture of the two of us. brrrr - I'm looking mean - no smile. Are you in connection with some of the others? Shannon Brown for example? He married a German girl you know and he lived in or near Schlammersdorf. He became a drug rep. Edd and I renewed our vows in 1990 and Shannon was our Best Man. I also remember Mark Gordon. Good old times! So you live in Charlotte? We're in hot hot East Texas.

  Same here Pat. I am excited about what I may find. Thanks for all your help. It can be overwhelming at times when I sit down in front of the computer I spend hours looking at stuff. In regard to the yearbook. It looks as if the names are in alphabetical order. Do the think the pictures coorespond?? I thought I could get some information from VA regional offices or the VA hospitals. What do you think. Of course a good name would help. I keep you posted. Have a great day!!
