Tell us a little about your cav days.
Worked for some of the best and worst officers of my career. Truely enjoyed my time as the Nomad Troop Commander. Had a great group of Warrent Officer Pilots, Enlisted Observers and Crew Chiefs. Neither Desert Storm nor the Germany drawdown period produced many good memories outside of time with the outstanding soldiers of the Regiment. I am proud to have served in such an historic unit.
Tell us a little about you now.
Retired from the Army Reserve after 30 years of combined service. Living in Hiram, GA now on the West side of Atlanta. Working as the Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager for Trekker Group, a Scaffolding company based out of Central, FL with a new office in Houston, TX and job sites all over the place so I travel a lot. I also work as a Trainer and Consultant for Turner Training and Consulting Services doing all sorts of OSHA and Scaffolding training.

"Captain" Haddle....I'm so hurt that you didn't include me on your "buddies to find" list !!
Kidding, of course. Good to hear that you survived your 4/2 tour. Who know's when you'll actually read this, but feel free to give me a call. Good Lord, I just realized McDonald ended up as a General....and I puked on his shoes at a formal event...just great...glad I'm retired !!!
but I think I was outa there before you took over, I remember you entirely as a less-than-gruntled 58 pilot... :P
I work for MG John Mcdonald at the Army Famly, Morale, Welfare & Recreation Command in Alexandria, VA. I believe his bio says he was COmmander of Q Troop at the time you were there. He definitely still carries the "spirit of the cavalry" with him!
Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the site has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site(ie,photos, ect) in the Forum.
And his only wish that ‘We keep it clean’, use our real names, and you tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.
Thanks Again for joining,
