  Well I hope I'm right. Do you remember SPC/4 Freddie Sloce from Fort Carson Colorado. Stationed in the " Old Mule Barn" section at Ft. Carson. We left for Germany together but went to different troops. I went to K Troop 3/2 ACR in Amberg Germany. !974 to 1977.

  I just happened to come across this web site and it brought a lot of names out of deep recall - Ranger Jim, aka CPT Noles, Jackie C Packer, SFC Diamond, Jody Booker, Ed Goins, Mark DeRuyter, David Goodreaux, Rusty Felker, Rick Bulak, Mike Szot, Pat Jones,  Tony Hinton, Jimmy Peters, Rusty Eichler, Frank "Blackatya" Parker, Coward, Pettit, Laroche, Stanford ......and I'm sure I'll come up with some more, in time. Great pics,  I have some of the same folks, but don't have them digitized to post at this time.

  Charles, where did you find the Troop picture from 75? Even though I left in june 74, I still recognize a few guys. Namely, Dave McBee ( was my driver on 17 ), Paul Emond ( was my loader on 17), Hall, Foster, Doggett, Robin Johnson and I think I remember Ponce as well. If you find the picture from 73, I am in that one.

  Welcome to the DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of updated features, lots of sub-groups,(ie, Officers Club, F-Trp., Amberg, Medics, etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
  Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
  Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history, and you can even win a kool prize.
  If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or any of the 5 admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
  And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures (pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).

  We had a SFC Webb next door in C Troop the same time you were in B Troop. Here is a poor picture of him on the far right with his hands behind him. We called him Lyrch because he was tall and talked slow like Lyrch on The Addams Family.
