      3-185 Armor Bn in San Diego. I didn't come to M Company until the Spring of 1971, and frankly I don't remember anything about the supply room.

      After seeing your pics and you behind your supply desk.  You do look familiar.  I was at the S4 and did a number of jobs.  I look back on things, it was a great assignment and good people all around.  CW2 Patterson was a tuff boss but fair.  Thank you for serving and a Merry Christmas to you.

      J.W. you and I were at Pond Barracks at the same time. I got there Sept. 69and stayed till March 71.I was just wondering if you remembered the APO from back then.The last time my wife and I were back was 2002 and we talked to some guys from Vielseck and I asked them what there APO was.Also good pics the ones of Nurnberg were they from when the whole squadron took the train there for some big parade??Do you remember anyone from Headquarters Troop??Around 1970.How about CSM McQuerry?I still talk to him on the phone.I drove him at a TCQC,at Graf.

    All listed above. Just very sorry I couldn't have spent all 20 years there in Amberg.


    Tell us a little about your cav days.

    The finest unit in the U.S. Army bar none 1st) Married one of the Wiesmet twins and had a wonderful son John W. H. , Rick Ward from Hq Trp. Married the other one. I also painted the tank search light covers.Got me out of Guard Duty for awhile. 2nd) Had the best Supply room in the Squadron 3rd) Enjoyed the border duty. Had to Emergency transfer back to the states.

    10 years in the regular Army and 23 years in the Army National Guard. Retired as MSGE8
