Tell us a little about your cav days.
I was the first female assigned to 2ACR. The commander, General Wagner, had me wear cav brass and a black beret. I had to wear spurs on my pumps to the dining in. 2ACR was my best assignment. I was treated as all the officers were.
Tell us a little about you now.
I retired in 1999. I ended up going to Airborne school in 1980 upon return from 2ACR and finally earned my master parachutist wings. I changed to AG branch and ended up spending 5 years as G1 in various Divisions and units.
Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.
COL Coulson, Regimental Signal Officer

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BARBARA
Wishing you many more, from all of us at DragoonBase!!!
I finally settled down. I left the Army in 1980 and traveled even more in civilian life than in the military. I am in Lake Jackson, Tx approx 60 mi south of Houston, been here since '94 working as an industrial electrician in the chemical plants in the area.
Nice to hear from you!

BJ - I was in the Regt'l Border Opns Ctr, I believe Maj Quinones was the S2, SFC HL Teters was our NCOIC. Others working the phones and radios were Charles Vance, Jim Dickie, Jarvi, and its been too long the other names escape me. Oh yea, I think Cpt Walt Barnwell was the OIC.
Anyway, just a shout out to a fellow Cav Trooper.
