Hello Steve, I was in HQ Troop 1968-1970 I remember CPT Lednicky very well, he was a very good CO when I was there. Do you happen to remember SFC Wheaton or SFC Murphy in S-2 ( Murphy transferd from c-troop late in 1969. How about Master SGT Fuljum ( the spelling of the last name may not be corect) there was a CPT Barns there when I left, He had just made Cpt, very nice guy...Did you ever fine Lednicky over the years ? anyway nice talking to someone who might have been there when I was. take care. There are other faces that I remember, but can't put a name to them. I left in July 1977 as a Cpt and headed to AOAC. Hope some of these names ring a bell.
Dave, should have read the comments first. A year late and a dollar short, but you should know I'm running on Tulsa Time.
Steve, looking over your list. Bob Young is a member of Dragoon-base. Hope this helps you in your quest a little.
Steve, you will probably have a better chance of finding Bob Young on Facebook. Here is the link to his profile....https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001967662630&fref=nf
I think he just had some surgery of some type.
Sir, I was a Scout in B Troop from December 1971 until June 1974. Our paths must have crossed many times while on the Rock. Bill Barry was my CO when I arrived and Bob Young was the XO.
Hello Steve, how are you doing. I was on the Rock during your time there. I've been trying to remember the name of the Lt. that was on the jeep headed to Wieden when they over turned. The driver, private Wolfe died of his injuries. Can you recall the name of the Lt?
Hope you find this site enjoyable. There are plenty, seems many more from the Rock than anyother. Hope you can find some of your friends. Wishing you well. From Mexico, Ray g.
