Tell us a little about you now.
I retired from Active Duty with 22 years service in 2006 and now live on the north side of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, across the Cheddar Curtain from Chicago, Illinois. When I retired I became the Executive Director of the Pritzker Military Library, a private, non-profit military library with a mission is to acquire and maintain an accessible collection of materials and develop appropriate programs focusing on the Citizen Soldier in the preservation of democracy. I also worked for the State of Illinois (bad decision), and then for myself (better). Now retired, I am working on writing projects and am very involved in Veteran issues, organizations, and advocacy.

Good to know there's another Cav Trooper here in Crystal Lake. I live near West Beach. Been here for more than a dozen years, though this is my .2nd house in town.
Couldn't find a picture of him on the internet, so I had to contact a friend who is on the board of the Armor Association. He sent me this photo I already had of Gen. Harmeyer at the 2007 reunion.
