Birthday greetings fellow Trooper, have a blessed day !
I don't really remember your name however I was a finance clerk in charge of D Troop's pay from 1963-Aug 1965. I sure hope I did not mess your pay up too bad. I started out as a Tanker and ended up in the Personal Section of HQ building.
I also was wondering if you knew Regina in the Snack Bar. Email me back and let me know. She was my girl friend for a couple years and lived in the DP camp. Have a good day.
Son just looking for guys that might
HAPPY BIRTHDAY VEARLWishing you many more, from all of us at DragoonBase!!!
Your photos brought back some warm memories of the Rock. I was there from late Jun of 64 through Jun of 67. I aquired a great friend, name SFC Arthur Shelton. Did you know him? He was in D trp prior to going to the $th ID in VN. He was killed in Jan of 68.
Sorry I missed your comment in the Border patrol section.
Yes, dad stayed in the Army after the 2d Cav. When that picture was taken he had eight years National Guard behind him (1930-38) and had been in the Army 12 years. They finally kicked him out in 1971 with a total of 37 years, 3 months, and 19 days service.
Wishing you many more, from all of us at DragoonBase!!!
Prost!!
