Jack,
October 2013 is the next 2d Cav Association Reunion. Place: Gettysburg. Will be a great opportunity to get together and have a few days of fun. The date on the Dragoon Base page is not correct. It's earlier in the month, but plan to attend. There are always things for wives to be included. We'll be there for sure. Last one,in November, was in DC area.

Jack Painter,
A name out of the past - Advance Course 4-70. I was in 14th Cav at Bad Hersfeld when you were in Bamberg. I think you gave me a set of 2d Cav brass when I left for Bindlach after we were at Knox. Retired retired now. All the best.
Bill
Jack, I thought that I left you a note on another page, but apparently it didn't take so I'll try here. Give me a shout if you get this. I see you're in NC. I lived over there for about five years, 96-2000, in Havelock, Cherry Point MCAS. I was retired, but living on the Inter-
coastal waterway. One of the places I've lived since I retired in 1992. Hope to hear from you.
Hello Jack. I was stationed in Bamberg from June 65 till May 67. I was in the infantry squad. First as part of infantry squad and then as driver of squad track, F-113. You might have been my CO.
Were you there when we lost the mortar track and the driver down during a night river crossing. They stopped all the rest of the crossing then.
Also I married (and am still married to her for 45 years now) a German girl from Bamberg. If you were F-Troop Commander then you had to give me permission to marry.
Hope to hear back from you
