YO HO HO! Hey Spearfish! Lemme see if i recall correctly. Tall, aviator glasses, easy going, and i think i remember an occasional beard. Those were the daze. I thought you were one of the draftees that left in 73, but thats the memory for you. Yep that would put us there exactly the same time. Were you buds with Dave Laster from Portola, Ca, and the talking in tongues north carolina roller preacher? Anyway this is great to hear from you. Also good to hear about Lurch, Sgt Kohlmann. What a great guy. I had forgotten his name, but somehow remembered Sgts Dorgen and Washington. Those guys always ready to take a bunch down to the PX in Nurnberg. Also Dr Carson, Whew this stuff is still in there. If I remember right both Tom Carr and 'Mandrax' Mayernak were draftees (as well as quite a few others at the time)and would find little joy in recalling the rock daze as pleasurable experiences; just stuck time away from the World. Anywho give me a shout back. Prost!
BTW i don't know if you recall John Thompson from the dispensary, but he and i get together every couple of years.

Sonny, You will be interested to know that MSG(Ret) Karl Kohlmann & his wife Helga retired here in Bayreuth, I see him every 4-6 weeks . Dr. Walter Carson is and has been a heart surgeon at the Bayreuth Klinikum(hospital) here in Bayreuth for years after leaving the Dispensary. Top Miller, C Troop

Joe, I was in B Troop at the same time on the Rock. Also did many tours at Camp Gates. There is another medic from our era that just checked in a few days ago by the name of McKibbon.
