      Lawrence,
Gee, you did a good job filling in the blanks. You would think that as much time we spent together that we could put a name to "Granpa". Time does this to us. Who knows, maybe later on, the name will pop back in our heads. When it does, just go ahead and post it. Seems to me that I remember heading to Graf from the Rock and a Sheridan engine pack went down. We scrambled and replaced the engine and had it up and going in 45 min tops right on the side of the road. Does this ring a bell?

Jim, to answer your question about the guy that always had a chew in his lip. That was SP4 Kent from Tenn. or Ky. leaning toward Tn. The horseshoe pits at Gates was between the Shop and the road leading to the tank park. The people who most generally was: My self, You, SP4 Jacobson, SP4 Kent, SP4 Stoneking, Grandpa, Wild Bill Maloney, Moron and once in awhale House. Roster depending on who went to what Boarder Camp. We split the troop in half. One half Pitman the other Gates. The 88 most generally went to Pittman.

      Hi James,
Well, it's January 9, 2010 and who would have thunk that after all these years we would have hooked up online? Are you married, James? I'm on my second marriage, have 4 kids and 6 grandkids. I'm an RN and work in a Psych ward. I graduated with a BA in Biblical literature and a minor in pastoral studies back in '80 (thanks to the GI bill), then went back to school for another 3 years to get my RN because I would have starved to death being a pastor! Back in '97, I took up the sport of paragliding and still love to fly 13 years later. I am a P-3 pilot. Well, just bringing you up to speed. Let me know about yourself. I hooked up with Jeff and Shelly some time back. Vancouver is only about 35 miles from where I live.
