   Bob Rusher, I went to Camp Gates with Delta Company when you were there.

  One time I took one of the cooks along as an observer.

  While on patrol he took me to a spot and we collected mushrooms.

  I was there permanent party from 1979-1980.  When Ssgt Betancourt left for stateside, I took over the messhall.  The place downtown was called Heinz's Gasthof and Country Discotech when I was there.  I had a room there for a year for free.  I inherited the key from the ration truck drive who left at the beginning of 1979.  It was the best year of my young life.

  I was at Camp Gates from 1979 to 1980.  I'm SP/4 Bob Rusher.  I was the Mess Sgt. after SSGT Betancourt went PCS to stateside.

  I was at Camp Gates from 1978 to 1981.  Were you permanet party there?  If you were do you remember who was permanet there?  Was Han's place in Brand still open?
